People are constantly telling me that I smell good and asking what it is.” Let’s take the highest-rated perfume Ambery Saffron, a take on MFK’s Baccarat Rouge, as an example, Users have consistently talked about how it earns them a multitude of compliments and how it smells just like the original: I sorted the perfumes by rating and none of them came up with any less than 4 out of 5 stars and this seems all based on 100% genuine reviews. One of the ways that Dossier markets itself is by placing real customer reviews on its website. I mean, I think that really says it all, doesn’t it? “Oh, Dossier… a company that claims to recreate famous frags really shouldn’t be this great.” One Reddit user speaks of her love for the brand overall, stating that she has purchased several fragrances and not been disappointed by any of them. Here, I’ve found several threads talking about how close of a match Dossier perfumes are to the originals. These sentiments are echoed on various online discussion forums like Reddit. “This chance replica smells exactly like the original chance. I get the impression from reading Amazon reviews, Reddit testimonials, and customer reviews that Dossier cannot do anything wrong, and more and more people are praising it.įor example, one person discusses the likeness between her Dossier purchase and Chanel Chance by stating: Because I need more than just one good testimonial when I order something online, I thought I would share with you some exemplary Dossier reviews. I’m going to be giving you my thoughts on various Dossier perfumes later in this guide. If you consider how much you’re saving, does it really matter if you have to reapply sometimes more than you normally would? To be honest, I have found that Dossier perfumes provide decent lasting power on my skin. I think that this is the general perception about clone perfumes regardless of the brand. One thing I’ve noticed, having read several other reviews, is that the perfumes may not last as long on the skin. They take the time to ensure these features, so I feel very confident buying from them. One of my favorite things about Dossier scents is that they are vegan, cruelty-free, and have no nasty chemicals in them like phthalates. As a result of these savings, Dossier is able to offer similar fragrances more affordably. It saves money on these marketing gimmicks and lets the positive feedback from its customers do the hard work. Big brands rely on celebrity endorsements, fancy presentations, and campaigns that cost millions. Houses like Galimard and Molinard are among some of the most well-known in the perfume capital of the world.īut then I raise the question, if these perfumes are just as high-end as their designer counterparts, how can I be sure that there’s not something else fishy going on? I mean Dossier scents are extremely affordable, after all.Īfter doing my research, I discovered that the answer lies in marketing. The scents made by Dossier are produced in Grasse, France which is renowned for its perfume production. The brand uses pretty much the same ingredients and techniques to design its fragrances which is probably why they’re such a good match for me. It turns out that Dossier is totally above board. So, one of my first questions prior to experimenting with Dossier was whether it was a legitimate company or if I was going to end up with nothing more than a bottle of scented water. It’s a part of your personality and a way to make a great first impression. I think perfume is more than just a way to smell nice. So let’s get started! Are Dossier Perfumes Legit?Īs someone who wears perfume quite a bit, I want to make sure that it complements me perfectly. Dossier Sale, Promotions, and Coupon Discount Codes. My Personal Dossier Perfume Buying Experience. So the price jump is a bit more than the actual jump in size. The size difference between the Deluxe+ and Grand is about 33%, but the price difference is about 55% higher. The Grand is also a bit heavier, and much more expensive. and that size (especially the width) makes it much less suitable for co-sleeping (more on that later) than the Deluxe+. The biggest differences between the Deluxe+ and Grand are the recommended baby ages and weights, and their overall sizes. It was a bit challenging to measure the side height because it really depends on how much loft the padding has at the moment, so take those measurements with a grain of salt! Here are the differences between the Deluxe+ and Grand DockATots: Early this year, we purchased both of them and put them to the test. There are two versions of the DockATot, the Deluxe+ and the Grand. These include the SwaddleMe By Your Side Sleeper, the Baby Delight Snuggle Nest, the Abreeze Bassinet Lounger, the CuddleNest, and the Smiling Gaia Baby Lounger Nest.Įach of these baby nests has its own pros and cons, and in our opinion, none is as comfortable and versatile as the DockATot. It's not alone in the market, with several companies making products very similar to the DockATot. The DockATot was known in Europe as the SleepyHead and then came to the United States in 2015. That's the origin of the term Moses basket, and artists' depiction of that frightful scene usually shows something similar to a modern wicker Moses basket.įast-forward two thousand years and fortunately things have changed quite a bit!įirst and foremost, you won't be sending your baby down a river in a floating basket! Second, these baskets have become a lot more comfortable, versatile, safe, and easier to clean and maintain. Moses baskets are typically made of wicker with handles on the top, and lined with fabric and padding.īaby boxes are typically cardboard with a mattress placed at the bottom, and baby pods are more like nursing pillows with center support as seen with the old recalled Boppy baby loungers.įor those familiar with the Bible, Moses is said to have been left in a basket and set afloat along the Nile River (eek!). In general, a baby nest like the DockATot is similar to Moses baskets, baby boxes (like the cardboard Smitten baby boxes), and baby pods. This isn't necessarily a new concept, it's just better executed with the DockATot. We review the safe and unsafe ways to use the DockATot later in the article, along with examples of ways that parents are using the DockATot in dangerous and inappropriate ways. This is your prerogative as a parent and nobody can stop you from choosing to co-sleep, but there are safe and very unsafe ways of co-sleeping. They also violate the safe sleep recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and use them as co-sleepers. Our biggest challenge with the DockATot is that parents don't read the instructions or use the product only as intended. Overall, we believe the pros outweigh the cons by a fairly big margin. That being said, we think there are a ton of practical and cozy uses for a DockATot! In other words, the DockATot is not a suitable replacement for an appropriately sized bassinet or crib mattress. We advise against those uses, even if you're watching your baby closely in person or with a baby monitor. When we first saw the DockATot, we were very nervous that parents would use it the wrong way: as an unsupervised sleeping area, as a co-sleeper, or placed into a crib or bassinet. The DockATot is the most popular baby nest on the market, offering a comfortable place for your baby or toddler to lounge, practice tummy time, get a diaper change, play, and have a supervised nap. We do not recommend purchasing or using a (new or used) DockATot with your child. You can read more about recent baby product recalls here and see the U.S. due to infant deaths associated with its use as a sleep product. If you buy products through links on our site, we may earn a commission.ĪLERT: As of November 2022, the DockATot Deluxe+ can no longer be manufactured, imported, or distributed to the U.S. Mommyhood101 independently tests and curates baby gear to help you make informed decisions. Foundations in particular are pretty annoying, because it's just pretty difficult in general to place them anywhere but open water, and they snap to the modules in such a way that they take up more space than the modules themselves. It seems like sometimes I can fabricate something right up next to the terrain, and then not be able to construct the same thing within the first few feet of the seabed. I've also been kind of frustrated with the habitat modules themselves. I'd like to do things like place aquariums and lockers flush against walls, place toys and other things on shelves, put a potted plant on a table, place a chair pushed in under a desk, maybe even put a sign on the ceiling above my bed. Things like (not being able to place a bed anywhere but the center and the cardinal sides of a second floor multipurpose room, and at the same time being able to put a coffee machine on a water filtration machine) kind of pick at me. I'm sure there are reasons for all this, but a guy can dream can't he? That being said, it bothers me when it seems like I should be able to put something in a certain place inside a habitat, but it won't let me. So, I love the current features and I can see a lot of potential for this aspect of the game. They were slapped down hard, and I want those bastards to stay slapped down. Considering that I took particular care in completely shutting down Torgaljin's illegal operations on this planet, I had no intention of handing over what amounted to an instant technological advantage. My greatest concern is that Torgaljin personnel might capture a more sophisticated drone and begin reverse-engineering its more accessible components. Camera drones have been sent there on several occasions, although they were deliberately made to be unable to operate the base's airlock controls. As the Lava Castle base has been effectively isolated for the past hundred and two years, I am understandably reluctant to carry out a detailed reconnaissance mission in order to ascertain whether anyone is still alive down there. This particular outcome was not at all intentional, although the follow-up operation against Torgaljin Corp's base in the Lava Castle was entirely successful and no further human lives were lost during our assault on this facility.Īs for what happened to the inhabitants of the Torgaljin base in the aftermath of that raid, I can only speculate how events might have unfolded. After being restored to life by the Valkyrie Field, I commenced a retaliatory action that culminated in the destruction of De Ruyter and the loss of its crew. A few days later, a Torgaljin security team entered my base and I was murdered by their leader, Invigilator Galen Tomar. Since I had already launched a deep-space distress beacon by that time and the frigate De Ruyter had made no obvious attempts to contact me, I became immediately suspicious of their intentions. Approximately eight months after Aurora crashed on this planet, a Torgaljin Corporation commercial frigate arrived and commenced highly secretive operations near one of my undersea bases. My second death was a rather more unpleasant surprise. Yes, you did read that last sentence correctly. It is entirely possible that new life forms are appearing even as this account is being written. Please be advised that this information is by no means complete and highly subject to revision, since this planet has entered a state of accelerated evolution. I have done my best to provide a broad assessment of each alien species encountered so far, including their general appearance, typical behaviour patterns and perceived threat levels. If you've accessed my earlier log entries, you'll probably be aware of the most prevalent threats that planet 4546B (a.k.a 'Alpha Hydrae IV' or ' Manannán') has to offer. Having a working Valkyrie Field in the Lifepod gave me a second chance, and I dare say that I learned a valuable lesson from that experience.Ĭonsidering that this planet is essentially a heaving mass of aquatic life forms with a marked taste for human flesh, it would serve you well to keep your wits about you. All things considered, I got off extremely lightly. The first time, I blundered into the path of a hungry Stalker and paid the price for my singular lack of caution. I should expect the pilots I hire to have enough common ******* sense to know that bad guys need to go boom boom without me having to club them over the head each time one shows up.Īs it stand the devs could remove almost HALF of the fleet commands from the game overnight, and noone would even notice for a few days given how USELESS many of them are and have always been. That's the price you pay for being completely hands off.īlackphoenixx a écrit :Why does the game need to play itself even more?īecause I don't want to have to micromanage the hell out of every sector in the game while simultaneously giving fleet commands in a major battle. You just have to tell it where to go when enemies appear which takes like 3 or 4 mouse clicks.īut if you want your sectors to be completely safe without you lifting a single finger after setting up the initial orders you can damn well pay out the nose for it and set up interceptors every 80km instead. Multiple sectors even if your miners have good shields and you use something fast like a Gorgon. In fact that's exactly as it should be - a player micromanaging or doing a task themselves should always be more efficient than simply clicking 2 buttons and leaving the AI to do it by itself.Īs i said above you can easily guard an entire sector with a single frigate. There is nothing wrong with NPC behavior not being perfectly optimized without actual player input. Why does the game need to play itself even more? Valhalla Awaits a écrit :What the game really needs is a "working" defend sector fleet setting that causes your ships to IMMEDIATELY go after ANY hostile target that pops up in ANY of your ship/station/statilite's radar ranges. You'll also be swimming in mod parts, hacking tools and SETA components. Set up a scout or courier to repeat orders collect items in the HOP border sectors and you'll get a steady trickle of them without having to comb station traders manually. You don't have to farm seminars to level every pilot up to 5 stars but at least making sure they have 2 already makes a huge difference (you can give out seminars over comms btw, don't have to fly there) and you can easily get hundreds of 5 star service crew from buying a builder ship and having it build stations.ġ-star piloting seminars also drop fairly regularly from the inter-faction conflicts. A multi-frigate escort is simply overkill.Īlso crew skill for miners has a huge influence on mining speed (A 3-star average crew is about 3x as effective as a 1-star one) so you can look into improving that to reduce the number of ships you have to protect (or at least expand without having to increase it as fast). A well equipped frigate can handle them easily alone, especially with defense drones out. If you want it to you can just use repeat orders with attack targets in range to have it patrol your mining areas.Īlso no non-base khaak spawn i've ever seen needed more than 5-10 interceptors to deal with, if that. It doesn't NEED to work completely without your input. Your miners get attacked, you give your frigate in that sector an attack order and go back to what you were doing and it'll be calm for an hour or two unless there's a base. It's not like Khaak attacks happen every 5 minutes. You don't need a fleet of M ships, all you need a single frigate in the sector you're mining in and the willingness to make 2 clicks to give an attack order when your miners call about being attacked by khaak. And even policing or Patrol the ships dont respond to miners getting attacked (Its dumb police should respond to attacks in the sector). I really do not want to give every miner a escort of M ships that would be spendy just to speed up the return. I love the look of the new TER ones on a side note.Īny one have any ideas on how to make this better, with the nerfs and how demanding the TER production line can be its taking me 50+ L miners to keep up with just one large factory. Making the fast ones like Split/Para ones kinda bad. The problem is even after testing M Flak seems the best for killing Kha'ah that spawns on them but still will not really get the job done so all that really happends is they keep the L ship from using travel drives so it slows the return speed of the ship. M Miners get wrecked by Kha'ak now and I would take an epic amount of Kha'ak to kill a large so I have moved to large. With the nerf to mining and would seem to be the abundant Kha'ak spawning on them I have been trying to keep stations stocked. As one of the major MCU characters, Nick Fury appeared in four out of nine first season episodes, with Jackson reprising his role. The first animated MCU series explored various alternate timelines in the Multiverse in which key moments from the MCU occurred differently. If you’re an MCU fan or at least a subscriber to Disney+, you probably know what is Marvel’s What If…?. MCU projects featuring Nick Fury in order (by release date) Iron Man (2008) It’s up to you to pick the order you prefer, and in the next paragraphs, we’ll list his MCU appearances by release date. Apart from the fact that that movie revealed how he lost his eye, which was made, many fans agree, pretty anticlimactic. True, some will say that chronologically makes more sense since we got to see younger Nick Fury in 2019’s Captain Marvel, which is chronologically the second movie in the franchise after Captain America: The First Avenger, and it also uncovered some things from Fury’s past.īut on the other hand, when we look at the franchise as a whole, you don’t need to know Nick Fury’s past to understand everything that happened to him in the movies released before Captain Marvel. What is the best way to watch them if you look only at Nick Fury’s part of the story? Well, it doesn’t really matter. Just like in the case of Star Wars, we know there are two kinds of MCU fans those who watch the entire franchise chronologically and those who watch the entire franchise by release date. What is the best way to watch MCU projects featuring Nick Fury? Everything that Nick Fury does in each of his appearances is mostly understandable for the context of that certain movie, but you’d probably need knowledge from some previous movies to understand that certain movie as a part of the bigger franchise. It’s recommended that you watch these movies chronologically or by release date to understand the context of the story, not Nick Fury’s character. But Nick Fury is generally a supporting character, so it’s not necessarily needed to watch movies with him in some specific order. MCU projects are mainly connected all together. Are MCU projects featuring Nick Fury connected? Do you need to watch them in a specific order? Still, Jackson’s performance and his charisma have helped him make Nick Fury one of the fan-favorite characters in the franchise. Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)Ĭompared to all the superheroes MCU introduced to the big screen during its 15 years of existence, Nick Fury has always played the supporting role.Captain America: The First Avenger (2011).Jackson has played the role of Nick Fury so far. Let’s take a look at all the movies and TV shows in which Samuel L. What’s more, the fans have huge luck that the legendary actor really enjoys this role, and he wants to play it for as long as possible, which resulted in so many projects in which he played Nick Fury. Jackson was absolutely a spot-on casting for the role of Nick Fury. MCU projects featuring Nick Fury in order (at a glance) This year, we’ll watch him in one more movie and one more TV series. These won’t be all MCU projects in which Jackson played Nick Fury. He also reprised the role in two episodes of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD on ABC and voiced the character in four episodes of the What If…? animated series on Disney+. Since he debuted in the original Iron Man movie in 2008, Jackson has played the character in 11 movies. Jackson played Nick Fury in even more projects than we might think at first. How many MCU projects has Nick Fury appeared in? So, while we’re waiting for those projects, let’s take a look at every MCU movie and TV show in which Nick Fury has appeared so far. This year we’ll watch him in two projects, the upcoming Secret Invasion series, where he’ll be the main character for the first time, and later this year in The Marvels. It’s been fifteen years since he debuted as Nick Fury, and there’s still no telling when and where he’ll portray the character for one last time. Although Nick Fury is a supporting character compared to all the superheroes MCU has, Jackson is currently the biggest acting veteran who ever took part in the MCU. Jackson first appeared as Nick Fury in the original Iron Man movie in 2008. |
